BlueScope LySaght Bondek II floor panels are manufactured from high-strength Galvanize steel. With base steel thickness of 0.75mm, 1.0mm & 1.2mm according to Australian standard AS1397:2011
With the structural shape of the floor slab, it is suitable for use in concrete slabs in civil and industrial buildings. LYSAGHT BONDEK II can also be used as a base layer for flat roof structures.
LYSAGHT BONDEK II panels are formatted in 600mm width units (width after waves) with a 51mm high triangular rib system suitable for rigid bonding to concrete.
LYSAGHT BONDEK II has the ability to exceed long spans. LYSAGHT BONDEK II floor panels 1.2mm thick are used as permanent formwork, capable of spanning up to 3.8m without the need for a supporting system with the steel structure.
Composite floors using LYSAGHT BONDEK II can be designed to be fire resistant for up to 240 minutes. With a fire resistance time of 90 or 120 minutes, BONDEK II’s positive waves contribute significantly to the fire resistance of the entire floor.
• Advantage
- Good span-crossing ability and minimal deflection.
- Acts as a permanent formwork for the floor, minimizing the scaffolding system.
- Quick and easy installation (600mm width).
- Combined with concrete to form composite floors, saving on concrete and reinforcement costs.
- Optimal fireproof design.
- Design software for BONDEK II provides convenience and flexibility during the design process.
